Greenfield Preservation Advisory Commission Appointment
Fincastle, VA – The Botetourt County Board of Supervisors and staff are finalizing the process to appoint the members of the Greenfield Preservation Advisory Commission (GPAC). The purpose of the GPAC will be to make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding the planning, design, development, maintenance, funding, and promotion of the Greenfield historical preservation area. In order to facilitate recommendations for service on the GPAC, the County has developed a brief survey for interested individuals.
The survey can be found here: https://fs23.formsite.com/botetourtcounty/GPAC_form/index.html. The link to the survey will also be provided on the Botetourt County website. The survey will be available until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016. If you had previously submitted an interest form, you do not need to submit again.
The information provided in this survey will be used by the Board of Supervisors and staff to help build a GPAC membership with both broad community interest and expert technical skill. The goal is to create a representative and committed group of both County citizens and skilled regional partners who can help excel the work of the GPAC.
The Board is planning to appoint the members of the GPAC at its regular meeting on August 23, 2016.
