Computer Classes to Premier at the Botetourt County Libraries
Fincastle, VA — The Botetourt County Libraries are pleased to announce the creation of a Digital Literacy Lab that will allow instructors to teach free computer classes at each of the four branch locations. This portable computer lab consists of seven touch screen laptops that are equipped with Windows 8.1 – the newest version of the Windows operating system. The four chapters of the Botetourt County Friends of the Library generously gave the money to purchase these computers.
The libraries plan on offering classes that will meet the needs of computer users of all experience levels. The classes will begin in June and include the following:
· Computers for Beginners (Tuesday, June 3rd: 2:00pm - 4:00pm @ The Fincastle Library)

· Meet Windows 8.1 (Thursday, June 26th: 6:00pm – 8:00pm @ The Eagle Rock Library)
