Utility Maintenance Worker

Botetourt County has an immediate opening for a Utility Maintenance Worker.  This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package.   This position requires knowledge of equipment, pumps and procedures involving construction and maintenance of water and sewer facilities; and manual labor.  Backhoe experience is a plus. Must possess valid Class A CDL or be able to secure within 6 months of employment.  Pre-employment physical and drug screening required.  Starting salary from $25,906 to $30,000 DOQ.  Open until filled.  EOE.

Planning Manager/Zoning Administrator

The Recreation Department is continually looking for dedicated volunteers to support its various programs and activities. The County utilizes volunteers to support parks and playing fields, coach youth sports teams, and promote its many programs. Additionally, the County works collectively with seven booster clubs in the area made up entirely of volunteers, which support and organize local youth sports leagues.
